BELIEVE AND WALK IN PERFECTION…

RHEMA FOR TODAY.

BELIEVE AND WALK IN PERFECTION…

Say these with me, “I am the workmanship of God! The Lord has His label on me; I have His very mark of perfection, certifying me whole; spirit, soul, and body! I am complete in Him. Hallelujah! I’ve been qualified to be perfect, righteous, holy, unblameable, and unreproveable in His sight. My words, thoughts, and actions are detailed and flawless. I think, talk, and exude excellence, to the glory and praise of God’s Name. Hallelujah!

There’s no darkness whatsoever in my path; my way is bright and my future secure! I am excellent, full of power, love, and the glory of God. I walk in righteousness and manifest the dominion of the Spirit. I have eternal life now; therefore, nothing in me produces death. I live in absolute victory and mastery over satan, the world, and its systems because the greater One lives in me. Glory to God!”

(Believe And Walk In Perfection)

Matthew 5:48 GNB “You must be perfect—just as your Father in heaven is perfect.”

“Grant never does anything wrong,” Sonia chatted Kathy;

“How do you mean, Sonia?” Kathy typed back.

“He’s got perfect grades always; he’s athletic, neat, and always punctual at class, unlike others. It’s like he’s Mr. Perfect.”

“No one’s perfect. Perhaps he hides his flaws….”

You’ve probably met some people like Kathy here who don’t believe that perfection is possible. When you try to talk to them about perfection, they refuse to listen. With a sneer, some even accuse you of being a “perfectionist,” because for them, “nobody can be perfect.” Yet, when you study God’s Word, there’s no place that suggests to us the impossibility of perfection. He requires us to be perfect, not when we get to heaven, but here and now—in the earth! The reason most people don’t think perfection is possible is that they don’t know what it is! Perfection, like success, can be measured at different stages of your life, according to the set-out purpose and goal. It’s measured according to the information that you have with respect to the underlying objective.

“Perfect” in our opening verse is the Greek word “teleios,” which describes perfection in your heart; completeness; measuring your heart with the heart of God. You think, love and forgive as God wants you to—you let your heart be like the Father’s heart. Another Greek word, “katartizo” is also used for “perfect” in 2 Corinthians 13:11 KJV: “Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect….” This means to do things perfectly. It’s not the perfection in the heart (teleios) but of your actions: the things you do and how you do them.

The emphasis here is on doing things impeccably right the first time, and the first step in achieving this is learning to pay attention to details! Believe in perfection and don’t be intimidated by it. Your perfection will be judged according to the training and information that you’ve received, not the one you didn’t get. So, practice being perfect by thinking and talking perfection, because the Lord requires it of you.
