HE’S LIVING INSIDE YOU!
TO THE BIBLE
John 14:10 “Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works”
During His earthly ministry, Jesus Christ walked in close fellowship with the Holy Spirit. He did nothing without Him. When He talked about the Father Who dwelt in Him, He referred to the Person of the Holy Spirit. And in John 5:19, He goes further to say, “…the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.” Jesus recognised the Holy Spirit as the Father in Him, and the doer of the work. As a Christian, it’s so important that you acknowledge this truth about yourself also. Never think your age disqualifies you; the truth is that “the Father” dwells in you today, through the Person of the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit living in you is your secret of success. You can’t manifest the glory and virtues of the new creation without His help. He’s the One who empowers you to live the victorious Christian life. No one who walked with Him was ever defeated. He made champions out of men. And He can do the same with you.
This is why you must take your fellowship with Him very seriously. Learn to listen to Him and act on His word. He can help you become better in any area of your life. He knows and understands you even more than you know yourself. And He’s more desirous of your success than you could ever be.
Romans 8:14; Romans 8:9
Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for bringing me into such sublime union and fellowship with the Holy Spirit. I’m walking in your perfect will and enjoying the glorious inheritance you made available to me in Christ, because I’m guided and inspired by the wisdom of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
