NO CURSES FOR YOU!
Nevertheless the Lord your God would not listen to Balaam, but the Lord your God turned the curse into a blessing for you, because the Lord your God loves you. (Deuteronomy 23:5)
The Bible tells us the story of Balaam, a prophet hired by Balak, King of Moab, to curse the Israelites. Interestingly, every time Balaam tried to pronounce a curse on them, a blessing would come out of his mouth instead! Balaam was unable to curse them because the Lord had blessed them already!
You’re a new creation, blessed and highly favoured by the Lord. You can’t be cursed! No curses. In fact, the Bible says you were called to inherit a blessing (1 Peter 3:9) and not a curse. Any negative word spoken against you won’t work, for God has blessed you, and nothing can change that!
