Clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart, 2 Corinthians 3:3

As you’re being taught in school, you take notes so when you get back home, you can study them. In the same way as you hear and study the Word, you’ve got to write it in your heart. You write the Word in your heart with your mouth!

This is why I always encourage you to meditate on and speak the Word. As you do so, you’re writing the Word in your heart, and nothing can remove it. When you do this often, you fill your heart with the Word, and you can be sure you’ll always experience the goodness of the Word.
