RHAPSODY OF REALITIES MONDAY, 5TH JUNE. http://bit.ly/2dZqtLQ
TALK THE WORD ONLY.
Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all⦠(Galatians 4:1-2).
An heir is someone who has an inheritance bequeathed to him, a legal inheritor of something: an estate or position of high authority and wealth. However, this heir, as long as he remains a βchildβ (Greek: βNepiosβ) will live in servitude because of his immaturity, despite being the legal inheritor of a vast estate.
The characteristic thing about a βnepiosβ is that he canβt talk right; he doesnβt have the intelligence of a mature person, and as a result, heβs unable to communicate sensibly with his speech. Some Christians are that way; they havenβt mastered the use of their tongue yet. Yes, the Word says theyβre heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ, but they canβt live the life of an heir, because they havenβt matured spiritually.
In Christ Jesus, youβve been given dominion over circumstances. Youβre superior to Satan and the forces of darkness. You have unlimited wealth, and access to limitless resources. Youβve been given the power of attorney to use the Name of Jesus and reign as a king in this world. Nevertheless, as long as you havenβt learnt to talk right and talk the Word only, youβll live as a victim.
God has already given you everything you need to live triumphantly in life: βAccording as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtueβ (2 Peter 1:3). 1 Corinthians 3:21 says, ββ¦all things are yours.β But hereβs the key: 1 Corinthians 2:13 says, βWhich things also we speakβ¦β ; meaning that the same things God has said about you should be your confessions as well.
However, you canβt speak them if you donβt know them, which is why you must get yourself trained in the Word of God. Be sure to be in church regularly to learn the Word of God. Study to know and apply the Word for yourself so youβll be able to handle your inheritance, as well as know how to use the authority bequeathed to you in Christ.
PRAYER
Through the Holy Spirit, Iβm taught and instructed in the life of Christ, and positioned to enjoy the great inheritance bequeathed to me in Him. My life is an expression of the realities of the glorious life of righteousness that I have in Christ, in Jesusβ Name. Amen.
