Affirmation Train You Can Change Any Situations With Words
HAVE RESPECT FOR THE ELDERLY BY REV. (DR.) CHRIS OYAKHILOME DSC DSC DD.
You shall rise before the gray headed and honor the presence of an old man, and fear your God: I am the Lord. (Leviticus 19:32)
God expects you as His child to respect those older than you. That is exactly what today’s memory verse is saying. Do you know that greeting is one way to respect elders? In fact, the way you greet people says a lot about you and the kind of training you’ve received.
Every time you meet the elderly, you should greet them properly. When you greet, do so with respect. Also, you should show respect to those who are older by not talking back to them or being rude. Remember you’re an excellent child, so, let excellence be seen in you as you learn to show respect to the elderly everywhere you go.
